About
Thirteen years, every layer.
Full-stack web developer. Also AWS infrastructure, LoRaWAN fleets, data at scale, and — increasingly — AI infrastructure clients run on their own hardware. Fast because I read the platform; readable because someone has to maintain it, and I only ship what I can explain to myself.
Where the years went.

OpenSensors
Software Engineer, on contract. Built the IoT fleet-management platform behind roughly 100 LoRaWAN networks and hundreds of thousands of devices, and keep it healthy in production: every device reports every ten minutes, and each reading is ingested, aggregated and typically queryable in under 250 ms. Own the full path a sensor reading travels — LoRaWAN radio and low-level device code, through an AWS pipeline built on IoT Core, Lambda, SQS and SNS, into the database — which extends to sensor inventory and the Unix servers the platform runs on. Designed and built the Vue 3 operator dashboards on an Elasticsearch read layer, shipped the cross-platform mobile apps in React Native, and built the authentication system the entire platform depends on.

Independent Contractor · clients under NDA
Design and run AI infrastructure for clients who keep it in-house: self-hosted model inference and training on hardware they control, plus automated agent infrastructure. Alongside that, inventory management systems, CMS platforms, data lake pipelines and large-scale data streaming, and consulting on AWS solution architecture. The names are under NDA; the work shapes aren't.

Two engineering roles before the web work: custom C++ engine and Unity (C#) work at Masthead Studios on Earthrise, a sci-fi MMORPG, and Guns n Robots, a multiplayer shooter; and browser work at Haemimont AAD from April 2011.

How I am to work with.
I like meeting people, hearing how they got where they are, and talking shop. Most of what I know got there because someone else explained it first.
Remote by default, and written-first — the strongest work I've been part of came from someone pushing back in a thread rather than nodding in a meeting. I've shipped across mid-size companies and small startups: one that made it, several that folded. The ones that failed taught more: what you cut when runway is the real constraint, and which calls you don't make twice.
Where models come into it, I'd rather be judged on the operating discipline than the novelty — budgets that keep cost proportional to value, failover that keeps a long job alive, and a check that catches output reporting work it didn't do. It's one more system to run properly, not a different kind of thing.

Open to contract and full-time remote.
Open to B2B contracts or full-time remote roles where one senior engineer owning a product surface end to end is valuable. Based in Sofia (UTC+2), remote-first and written-first across time zones.
Rate and terms depend on scope, so I quote rather than list. Tell me the scope, the rough duration, and when you want to start, and you'll get a number back the same day.
